It was the reason Sweden regulated kratom. Prior to that it was legal for consumption. People died from it. I remember I did try it back then and it was definitely some strong stuff. A strong opiate for sure... I don't think anything happened to the fucks that sold it. Sweden did not have liability laws to do anything about it back then.
