Hello, calling kratom an opioid is kinda wrong. It differs from opioids because it only agonizes the mų receptor and not the delta and kappa like other opioids. Furthermore, it agonizes partially that mų receptor, which in turn doesn't provoke a full reaction of that receptor. The advantages are no risks of overdose, respiratory depression and awful physical dépendance (unless mixed with traditional opioids).
