I've known - several people get off opiates w/ Kratom. A Kratom dependency is a far cry from an opiate addiction. Kratom withdrawal isn’t fun but it’s nothing like opiates and no one goes and does crazy things for Kratom. When you abuse Kratom it isn’t pleasant and even if you do I often eventually you’ll never have that effect from it again. It just doesn’t create the kind of issues that typical drugs do when you take it regularly
