I think the heavy metal worry is overblown, I've been taking kratom for over 10 years and been in online communities where it was discussed for more like 20 years and have never heard of anyone having any complications due to heavy metals in kratom, I wouldn't worry. But I would buy scales and try to cut down. You'll get some scales for like 10 or 15 bucks on amazon
