I am thinking it might be easier to stay on the methadone and wean really, really slowly. I just need to convince the Dr. There is not enough spaces in treatment and they are desperate to get me off the books. Most people stay on it. I got to 11mg from 50mg and they now want me off that in less than 4 weeks - two more drops and then cold turkey. I want to start a new job and taper much more slowly - like a mg a month. I only want to do this once.
