I take 4-6g four times daily, and often find the effects are seemingly random. Some days the red just hits much harder. I use it for energy and to help with ADHD, and even when I’m not getting an actual noticeable effect, it helps with that. I do remember, when first researching it, seeing a few places saying that it tops out after a certain amount and does nothing. Think you’re onto something, tapering down a bit. Can’t hurt.
