I should have updated this sooner. Had complete success with the new payment method when I finally used it. Not sure what time emails arrive as I use the DPD app. It normally has the delivery scheduled by mid lunchtime. The only time I haven't received next day delivery is when DPD made a mistake so I am sure it will be fine.
